I keep finding new treasures this year. Just down the road from me is a gem in Knoxville called the Ijams Nature Center. During the peak of summer, it features some of the most prolific displays of sunflowers I have ever seen. There also were some killer fireflies. I definitely plan on photographing those guys more in the coming year. Also new this summer, I have hiked nearly all of Roan Mountain and its highlands! The Roan has officially solidified its place as a favorite in my hiking catalog.
